Job description:

An opportunity has arisen for a Dispensing Assistant to join the team at our Cleethorpes Pharmacy working 23 hours per week.

Duties will include, but are not limited to: serving customers, cash handling, dispensing, stock control and keeping the work place tidy. The hours will be split between customer service and dispensary roles.

Candidate Requirements:

The successful applicant will ideally have a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant qualification or equivalent. This qualification is desirable but not essential as we would welcome an application from someone with the desire to train and be sponsored where you will be given support and guidance to help you qualify.

Previous retailing experience is essential and you should be able to demonstrate the ability to handle sales transactions through the tills and have an appreciation of stock control systems.

You should have good communication skills, enjoy helping customers and demonstrate sensitivity and confidentiality. A good level of education is required with a minimum of GCSE Grade C, or equivalent, in Maths and English. A methodical and accurate approach to practical tasks with the ability to explain complicated instructions clearly to customers would also be an advantage for this role.
