An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pharmacy Dispenser to develop their career within our pharmacy group.

We are a progressive group of pharmacies possessing a "family" team spirit and looking for a like minded individual to join our team, offering support primarily within the Timperley region.

As a Pharmacy Dispenser your working schedule would be flexible, dependent on the group demands. You would be responsible for the day to day running of one of our organised dispensaries and will:

  • dispense prescriptions
  • answer patient/prescriber/supplier queries
  • build relationships with patients, GP surgeries, suppliers and other healthcare professionals
  • maintain stock control and cost effective purchasing
  • maintain dispensary cleanliness and standards
  • handle patients and care home monitored dosage systems dispensing, MDS.

Personal specification:

  • Qualified to a minimum of level 2 NVQ in pharmacy service skills and pharmaceutical science preferable but not necessary
  • Good attention to detail and high levels of concentration
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent team working skills and ability to also use own initiative as part of the defined role
  • At least 1 years community pharmacy / dispensing experience preferred
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines
