Personal Tax Senior

A perfect opportunity for a Personal Tax Senior looking for progression over a period of time to gain a mix of compliance and advisory work. Based close to Gateshead this modern accounting and tax practice are seeking a Personal Tax Senior to support a team with compliance as well as the Tax Partner with advisory work.

You will be an existing Personal Tax Senior or equivalent with ambition to widen your tax experience into planning and mixed tax. This will suit either an AAT student or those at CTA level (support provided).

The role would primarily be dealing with a portfolio of personal tax returns, assisting with the completion of P11D’s and supporting the Partner with their planning projects.

Such planning will include (but not limited to) IHT, R & D reports, group reorganisations and profit extraction. This will entail meeting with clients, lawyers and IFA’s and will require a natural communicator to be able to converse with individuals at meetings.

The role will evolve and you will continue to learn each week from those around you and as such your career will benefit from you being office based as opposed to home learning. Some flexibility can be accommodated but we are really searching for an ambitious individual keen to further their career from the office.
