We are currently looking for staff to work in a sixth form college enrichment programme. This role would suit someone that has worked as a cover supervisor or youth worker looking for a diverse new role.

As Personal Development & Welfare Assistant Coordinator you will play a key role in delivering a range of enrichment activities and promoting the engagement of learners within the programme.This role would suit someone that has worked as a cover supervisor or youth worker and has had experience supervising young learners.You will be working within a well resourced modern sixth form college with learners that are engaged in their course and have no behaviour problems.. Within this role you will be able to offer true pastoral and personal development to learners to support their journey through the college.Purpose of the job
  • To Assist with the planning and publicising of the college wide enrichment programme including weekly activities, trips, visits and events
  • Deliver a range of enrichment activities to enhance the enrichment provision
  • Engage learners in the enrichment programme
  • Effectively monitor and maintain all enrichment records in order to produce evaluative termly progress reports
  • Liaise regularly with learners, curriculum areas and external organisations to maximise the Enrichment provision
  • Manage learner spaces around the College
  • Assist with developing and overseeing the Student Union and Student Council
  • Undertake specific projects that motivate learners, celebrate success and/ or reward targeted groups
  • Liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, employers and other organisations, e.g. funding bodies, to ensure collation of up to date and accurate information and data.
