We are looking for a Personal Assistant to help care for a lady who is based in Kirkcudbright. This lady enjoys chatting, watching TV and doing crossword puzzles.

This lady is looking to recruit two PAs to join a team of staff for 10 hours per week. The days can be flexible and discussed with PA to suit. The Hours of work are between 09.30am and 11am then between 5pm and 6pm and 8pm in the evenings .

Use of a hoist is required as she is bed bound and requires support with all aspects of Personal Care. Help with preparing light meals is also required.

Requirements

  • Training in Moving and Assisting is required.
  • It is desirable that applicants have had previous experience in adult support services or care services, however, specific training can be sourced if the successful applicant has no previous experience in working in adult support services.
  • It is important that the successful candidate/s are able to work as a team and communicate appropriate information to other PAs and parents as and when required.
  • Post is subject to a satisfactory PVG.
