Role Purpose

Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Performance Manager to join our Viking Link team to work at West Keal office in Lincolnshire.

What you’ll be doing

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for the following:
  • Assisting Project Director and the senior leadership team in achieving target set for the project
  • Reporting writing- Working with various project department to collect, compile and draft progress report
  • Produce power point slides and reports for the both internal and external stakeholder meetings
  • Co-ordinate both internal and external meetings
  • Focus on timelines / plans at detailed enough level to show critical path / pinch points
  • Gathering Meetings minutes/actions and monitor progress. Work with leadership team to ensure they progress with their / teams actions
  • Production of meaningful documents from meetings
  • Able to identify paths to progress through complex issues (i.e produce plans and engagement along the way)
  • Strong commercial awareness (less important re cabling / engineering)
  • Effective facilitation of meetings and improvement of overall governance
  • Create and update project specific dash boards.
  • Provide efficient and effective administrative support for contract.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactional information;
  • Accuracy and validation of information in both internal and external reports.
  • Establish good working relationships with other team members;
  • Act as a critical friend to help develop organisational skills within the team
  • Solid experience of risk and issue management

Who we’re looking for

You Will Have The Following Qualities And Experience
  • Demonstrates solid presentation skills and verbal/written skills;
  • Able to demonstrate proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook);
  • Relevant experience in an project management office role;
  • Excellent organisational skills;
  • Good communicator and inter-personal skills;
  • Self-starter
