The Performance and Analytics Manager is responsible for providing robust commercial analysis, evaluation and reporting on hotel and portfolio performance in Revenue Management, Sales and overall Commercial Performance. These insights enable the revenue management and sales teams to make informed and effective decisions and present a commercial advantage.

What will I be responsible for as a Performance & Analytics Manager?
  • Report, analyse and present KGH Commercial performance from a Revenue and Sales perspective to senior management within the organisation
  • Design and deliver impactful and efficient analysis based on robust economic, financial, and statistical analysis.
  • Develop analytical models to evaluate the impact of different scenarios, assisting in the business decision making process
  • Interact directly with multiple departments across the organisation, in order to deliver valuable business insight and areas of opportunity
  • Contribute towards developing, publishing and monitoring KPI’s to measure success and efficiency, by cultivating an intimate knowledge of the metrics used to measure the business
  • Provide tactical recommendations based on analysed data to support improved commercial performance
  • Act as an analysis tools and data repository expert; develop a deep knowledge of all sources of data required to deliver the insight required
Is this role right for me?
  • Educated to degree level with a professional qualification gained in either statistics, information technology or related discipline preferable. Hotel experience highly desired with a background in a commercial function in a hotel / hospitality company.
  • Logical mindset with High level of numeracy, and computer literacy (*), has the ability to simplify the complex and impart concepts to differing levels of stakeholder (*) Experience in data analysis languages (e.g., Python, SAS, R, SQL) to analyse data held in big data structures, experience of BI tools.
  • Able to function independently with a minimum of supervision, taking full ownership of key analytical projects. Manage and direct four employees developing their skillset and ensuring a high level of automation and efficiency. Work on continued improvement cycle based on engagement and feedback from key stakeholders.
  • Conduct exploratory and investigative analysis on new/existing data sources, including internally sourced customer big data as well as self-created and industry datasets
  • Act as a subject matter expert to support executives, senior management, stakeholders, and other users of viewing and customer data, providing expert views on trends and forecasts
  • Prioritise big projects and ad-hoc requests creatively, looking for opportunities to create self-serve solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrable experience of taking data from multiple complex sources to form analytical insights to present competitive advantage.
