Job Description


Overview of the role

Assystem is hiring for a People Systems Administrator to join our business supporting our growing People Function. Based from our Head Office in Blackburn, The People Systems Administrator will report directly to the HRIS Manager and provide ongoing support to the wider team.

The role will involve a high level of data input and administrative duties across several internal systems, therefore we will require someone who is willing to ensure accuracy and consistency with repetitive tasks.

  • Collaborate with People Manager/People Business Partners and other stakeholders to support with data changes.
  • Become a superuser for our internal HR systems.
  • Create user accounts, manage access, and update employee information.
  • Data input across all HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity and timely updates.
  • Record and securely store HR metrics, including employee personal information
  • Update internal organisation charts.
  • Support People Administrators with Employee File creation and upkeep.
  • Export regular and ad hoc reports from our internal databases.
  • Migrate data from multiple systems.
  • Support the people team and wider business with system-based enquiries.
  • Troubleshoot and report technical issues.

Qualifications


Required Experience

Essential

  • Work experience as an HRIS Administrator or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with databases and HR software
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • Experience working to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment
  • Good attention to detail
  • Experience of multi-tasking and prioritising
  • Experience with managing confidential data and a good understanding of GDPR
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team

Desirable:

  • Experience with IFS and/or SmartRecruiters
