Our client provides technical engineering services and works with large blue-chip customers throughout the UK. They are currently recruiting a People & Culture Manager to work alongside the Senior Management team based in Manchester. They are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated HR professional, who can show initiative and work quickly and efficiently to support the business with effective HR delivery.

This is a stand-alone role, with lots of autonomy to make in impact, embracing a business with a very positive culture, so if your ambitious and want to work in a lively and fast paced environment, this could be the role for you.

The role could be called “culture ambassador” and we are really looking for someone who wants to do things differently in the world of HR. This is not a role for someone who wants to write polices, it’s a role for someone who wants to develop creative initiatives and then make exciting things happen.

Job Title: People & Culture Manager

Package: Competitive basic salary up to £45,000 plus benefits.

Location: Salford

It goes without saying you need to have the credentials to deliver on the above. You will need to know your basic employment law, HR practices and be good at dealing with difficult situations but where the real impact can be made is by working hard to develop new initiatives and come up with new ideas to engage and communicate with a diverse workforce in new and innovative ways.

We are keen to hear from people with the skills and experience to work across all areas of HR who may already have an employee engagement biased experience or are looking for a role with a focus in this area. You’ll be an enthusiastic, persuasive, proactive character used to working in fast paced and changing environment.
