Hippo Digital is seeking a People Business Partner to join our Hippo Herd. This newly created role will play a pivotal part in supporting our existing Hippos and during a period of exciting growth.

Reporting to the Head of People Ops and Development, our People Business Partner will support the ongoing development of a progressive and positive culture with the overall goal of increasing levels of engagement, enablement and retention through the day-to-day delivery of a high quality, responsive people operations service.

Requirements
  • An experienced CIPD qualified HR professional with a proven track record of working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • You’ll be a generalist with experience of working in HR operations environment
  • Have a broad HR background with experience across Onboarding, Reward, Policies & Procedures, Employee Relations, Engagement & Retention and Offboarding
  • You’ll be data savvy, able to collect, analyse, provide and present recommendations to stakeholders at varying levels
  • Skilled in reviewing, developing and implementing new policies/procedures
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to problem-solve
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines
  • Excellent verbal/written communications skills

Our Hippo offices are in Leeds, Coventry and Manchester. However, we invite candidates to apply from anywhere in the UK who can be flexible regarding location. We offer a relocation support package of up to £8k to help cover the cost of moving somewhere within commuting distance of one of our locations. Please note that due to the nature of the business, we may also request that you work from client locations or work from home.
