About the Role
HR Services is a trusted partner enabling the achievement of excellence through best practice from within and beyond the sector. We ensure that our staff and managers have ready access to a range of quality HR services that are relevant, reliable, responsive, and cost effective. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pensions and Payroll Officer to join our highly effective team to strengthen our customer focussed advice and support for the full range of Pensions and Payroll activities.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for administering our occupational pension schemes including Teachers’ Pension, Local Government Pension, NHS and NEST, ensuring compliance with the scheme regulations and providing timely and effective pension service to our staff. Additionally, you will support the payroll team ensuring timely payments, legal compliance, excellent customer service, as well as adherence to service level agreements.

With a degree or part qualified in relevant professional qualification, or with appropriate level of experience, you will be a team player with a ‘can do attitude’ and have a good working knowledge and experience of administering our pension schemes. You will also have exposure to payroll, ideally including knowledge of RTI, PAYE and other payroll functions. An expert Excel user, you’ll have proven and demonstrable experience.
