An exciting opportunity has arisen for Peer Trainers to work within the Trust’s Positive Approaches Training Team. These posts have been created to support the development and delivery of PAT training across the Trust.

A central requirement of these posts is that the post holders will have direct lived experience of mental health issues, accessing secondary mental health services orexperience due to being a carer of a family member in care. The post holders will work directly within the PAT team and will be line managed by the Senior Nurse.

The post holders will co-design and deliver face to face training which will enable the Trust to achieve the cultural change required to move toward recovery orientated PAT training. The post requires the post holders to travel and work into all trust geographical areas.
