We have an amazing role for Payroll Systems Manager to join the team as there are many great initiatives underway creating opportunities to get involved in various projects and continuous improvement activities.

We make promises to our customers, and we’ll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include.

  • Contribute to the HR and payroll systems strategy in alignment with the overarching HR IT target architecture and HR digitisation strategies
  • Contribute to system changes which develop efficiencies in the end-to-end payroll processes in alignment with BPO and middle management stakeholders of entities outside the HR organization (e.g., Finance/IT)
  • Ensure that the necessary internal controls are modelled in the development of any system changes (e.g., appropriate testing)
  • Strong collaboration with Global Business Process Optimization (BPO) and HR Development and Operations (HRDO) teams to approve any design decisions where appropriate and owning the Request for Changes relating to UK Payroll.
  • Provide expertise on HR and payroll issues of all complexity regarding design and documentation of the payroll processes both internally (e.g., UK Payroll and systems) and externally (e.g., to third party suppliers such as payroll)
  • To work across functions and systems including, but not limited to, Payroll (ResourceLink), Time and Attendance (Kronos), HR Management Systems (Oracle E-business Suite/Oracle HCM Cloud), Employee Benefit Administration (Pensions/C2W etc.) and Finance (Oracle e-business suite).
  • Align all proposed system changes with affected stakeholders (e.g. end users, business decision makers)

  • Previous in-depth experience within a HR, payroll or business role is essential.
  • Previous experience within process improvement/management, system management and/or project management is essential.
  • Expert understanding of transactional HR processes related to payroll systems and processes.
  • Understanding of payroll data, manipulating data, and extracting data, including how the data is used.
  • Basic technical knowledge of global and regional systems, ideally Oracle HCM Cloud or Workday, SuccessFactors as comparable systems, Kronos, Workforce Central and ResourceLink.
  • Understand the integrations and interfaces of Payroll.
  • Able to identify errors and escalate issues where required.
  • CIPD or CIPP qualification would be beneficial.
