Our client is a fabulous global company with two offices in the Midlands. We are seeking someone to support with preparation of the outsourced payroll and benefits for approximately 350 UK staff.

The role is for a 12m contract to cover the current Payroll Officer who is on secondment to another area. On a weekly basis you would spend 4 days in Redditch and 1 day in Halesowen.

You Will Be
  • Responsible for preparing the payroll for approximately 350 employees (prior to outsourcing)
  • Keeping records of salaries, overtime, shifts, additional payments and co-ordinating starter/leaver information
  • Managing employee benefits including life insurance, childcare vouchers, pension, health insurance, company car administration etc.
  • Handling any payroll queries and generally being the "go to" person for anything payroll related
The ideal candidate
  • You will of course have very good communication skills, previous experience of working in a payroll environment and working to deadlines.
  • It is ESSENTIAL you have a good understanding of current payroll legislation and have knowledge of Benefits and pensions.
  • You’ll be someone who is self-motivated and a committed team player.
  • You will need excellent communication skills as you will be working with people across the work community.
