Job Title: Transformation Payroll Benefits Manager

Hours: 37.5 per week

Location: Bolton in office with one day a week from home

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000

Contract: Fixed term contract 12-18 months - with the view to go perm for the right candidate

About the role:

As our Transformation Payroll Manager, you will lead on a transformation project. You will be responsible for a full review of the current service and recommendation to the business – and leading on the transformation of the service and how the service is delivered.

You will work with the wider payroll team and management to forge solutions within the business including:

Creating a payroll transformation project plan

• Looking at the functionality of the team, future setup, and deliverables.
• Provide a breakdown of payroll and delivery methods.
• Reviewing and assessing the payroll system and suggesting improvements where necessary
• Drafting reports and delivery to the board
• Making recommendations and options for new service delivery and delivery and implementation of recommendations
• Software assessment and implementation
• Projection plans
• Development and planning and strategic input into OFG’s Benefits and Rewards offering

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Previous experience in Cascade HR & payroll would be an advantage but not essential
• Payroll experience as a Payroll Manager or Payroll project manager
• Full and comprehensive understanding of payroll functions
• Experience in collaborating with different departments and stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
