We have been awarded a new contract in our eCommerce business unit with one of the hottest apparel retailers in the UK and oversees, and we are looking for a Payroll Administrator to all ensure all payroll policies, deadlines and compliance is adhered to, including the management of any direct links into payroll such as holiday management and absence management.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £25,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Collate all payroll data for monthly submission and all ensuring all associated administration and information is accurate and processed in line with the required deadlines
  • Process new starters/leavers on all HR and payroll databases
  • Ensure any queries with regards to payroll are answered and explained within a timely manner, as well as any changes to colleague’s terms and conditions are amended correctly including leavers
  • This role is predominantly payroll-based but will also include some HR Administration activities


What you need to succeed at GXO:


  • CIPP / Payroll Technician certified or working towards (desirable but not essential)
  • Good use of Microsoft Office and HR and/or payroll databases
  • Past administration experience, ideally in a people-focused role, as you’ll be working with stakeholders at different levels
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and the ability prioritise workload effectively
