Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain detailed employee records while adhering to regulations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to resolve payroll inquiries.
  • Calculate and process statutory deductions, such as tax and National Insurance.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports and returns to relevant authorities.
  • Stay up-to-date with payroll legislation to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining payroll software, with a focus on Sage Payroll or BrightPay.
  • Safeguard confidential employee information and data security.
  • Generate ad-hoc payroll reports as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator, specializing in Sage Payroll or BrightPay.
  • Thorough understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and pension schemes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in data entry and calculations.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and relevant computer applications.
  • Strong communication skills for addressing payroll inquiries.
  • Adherence to confidentiality and data protection policies.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of both independent and team work.
  • Knowledge of current payroll legislation and the ability to stay informed about changes.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
