What You’ll Be Doing

You will hold yourself to a high culinary standard and it is your attention to each preparation that keeps guests wanting more. Leading by example you will help build and maintain a professional, efficient, safe and enjoyable kitchen environment. You will support the Sous and Head Chef in motivating the team to produce a consistently high standard of meal service in both bistro and a la carte styles. You will have a proven experience in all areas of food preparation and design. Working to budgets, you will be results orientated and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times.

What We’re Looking For
  • Great teamwork skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience working within a kitchen environment at a supervisory level.
  • A relevant culinary qualification to a minimum of level 2, and a food hygiene certificate are desirable.
  • A positive, welcoming attitude with excellent communication skills.
  • To be highly motivated and pro-active; acting with professionalism in all interactions
  • The ability to deal calmly with unexpected situations and crises.
  • Creative interest in food and menu design
  • Very high cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • A flexible approach to working hours with the ability to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
