Summary

We are a friendly, supportive and inclusive one form entry mainstream school on the Bath side of Chippenham, with very easy access to the M4, A4 and A420. Our school also has a 20-place Resource Base for pupils with Complex Learning Needs. The Resource Base is an integral part of the overall school and applicants will need to share our commitment to the inclusion of pupils with a wide variety of needs and backgrounds both in the base and in the mainstream school.

We want to appoint a confident and caring pastoral lead who shares our commitment to children’s social and emotional wellbeing and can identify with the vision and values of our school. The successful candidate will need to have a demonstrable enthusiasm for working with families to make a real difference to children’s outcomes and life chances and be someone who is looking for a rewarding, stimulating and supportive place to work.

Hours of work: Part time 26 hours per week (4 days per week (days to be agreed), 8.30am-3.30pm, with half an hour unpaid lunchbreaks, term time only, 38 weeks per year). A degree of flexible working will be needed at times.
