Part-time Legal Secretary

Location: Commutable from Hull, Hessle, Willerby, Anlaby, Cottingham, Brough, North Ferriby

Salary: Competitive DOE

Office based role

Grafton Recruitment are delighted to be working on behalf of a successful law firm who are looking for an experienced part-time Legal Secretary to join their offices in the West Hull area.

The duties of the Legal Secretary will include:

  • Provide effective secretarial and general admin support to the Conveyancing team
  • Provide audio typing services for your fee earners
  • To operate departmental systems including fee earners’ personal diaries
  • Ensure that all correspondence and documents are generated in the firm’s standard format
  • Retrieve and archive files, carrying out administration of the filing system
  • Maintain files in accordance with office standards and procedures
  • Make and receive telephone calls from clients, other third parties as necessary
  • Liaise with expert witnesses and other third parties to arrange meetings

You will need:

  • Excellent typing skills
  • Experience with digital dictation/audio typing
  • Confident telephone manner
  • IT literate
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
