Part-Time Sales Assistant (Childrenswear)

Every day our customers are inspired by a range of quality products and services offered at our Downtown Grantham store. Our aim is to provide each customer with an exceptional service that complements our extensive product range and caters individually to each customer’s needs.

We are seeking a part-time Assistant to primarily work on our Childrenswear, Toys and Children’s Footwear departments, support the existing team and play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the store, especially during peak back-to-school and Christmas periods. Your knowledge and exceptional customer service will enhance our customer’s experience, making you their trusted go-to person. You will be confident in your product knowledge to offer tailored, reassuring, and honest advice to individual customers. Your friendly manner will build rapport with customers, giving you the opportunity to maximise sales opportunities.

You must be enthusiastic about our products, a confident communicator and have a good level of literacy and numeracy. You must also be calm when navigating busy trading times and ideally, you will have previous shoe fitting qualifications or experience, although full training will be provided.

Other duties required as part of the role will include merchandising, stock and order processing and maintaining enticing visual product displays.

Hours are 20 per week usually worked on four days out of seven. Our stores are open 7 days a week, so you must be able to work regular weekends as part of your rota. A flexible approach to working days and times is required and you should be available to work occasional varying shift patterns and differing days if required.
