We have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Sales Assistant in our York store.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring individual who will provide an exceptional level of customer experience. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving brand awareness, trade performance and being a role model for the rest of the sales team.

This is a part time contract which requires 12 hours per week.

As a Sales Assistant you’re main responsibilities will include, but not limited to: -

• Stepping up to run the store in Managers absence - You should have strong leadership skills and be able to manage a team.
• Guarantee that the customer is put at the forefront of every decision that is made. Without exception everybody who leaves the Lyle and Scott store has been subjected to a market leading instore experience.
• Behave in a fun, engaging, warm manner with all customers; welcoming them into the store in a bespoke manner that fits their needs, creating an environment that all customers want to linger in and browse.
• Always smile, never complain, always be positive and to really understand the customer better than they understand themselves so that they all leave feeling that Lyle and Scott really cares, looks after them and that no other brand or retail experience can do or serve as well as we do!
• Become a trusted styling and purchasing advisor to customers who come back to the store because they want to be served by you as an individual and they want to be immersed in the Lyle and Scott experience.
• A passion for a career within retail and is keen to learn new skills in the future which could lead to a career into management.
