We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Poultry/Farm Worker to join our team. The position will be working weekends and some weekdays. Previous poultry experience is not essential, as full training will be given, although having previous poultry or farm work experience would be advantageous.

Duties Include:

  • Providing high animal and bird welfare
  • Egg collection and packing
  • Basic maintenance
  • General farm work
  • Moving pallets with pallet truck or fork lift
  • Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy
  • Maintaining safe working practices & high level of site and personal biosecurity standards

Successful candidate:

  • Reliable, responsible and hardworking
  • Be hands on and not afraid of hard work
  • Confident around hens
  • Able to work alone as well as in a team
  • Willing to learn with a can-do attitude
  • Has an interest in providing high level of care and welfare to the hens

Own transport is essential.

Must not have any avian contact at home.
