  • Job Title: Personal Care Assistant
  • Hours of work: Average of 20 hours per week. Between 2.5 and 3.5 hour shifts.
  • Rate of pay: £13.26

Whilst on probation £12.00 per hour. After a probationary period to rise to £13.26 for day time hours worked. Probationary period:will depend on experience.

Job purpose:To provide personal care and assistance such as help with feeding, dressing, bathing, toileting, for a disabled male, who is PEG fed, uses a Nebuliser, Suction machine and NIV machine. Being familiar with these machines is an advantage but full training is given.

  • To be considered for this role, you must have at least a year’s experience in Health and Social Care, have some experience of the very personal care. A willingness to learn is as important as experience.
