15 Hours Per Week – annualised hours contract

You will be required to drive the mayor’s car and take the mayor and mayoress/consort to/from mayoral engagements. You will assist the mayor in carrying out their duties and act as security person at the Civic Suite, as and when required. You will also be required to take part in full council meetings and support the mayor at receptions.

Work hours are 15 per week (annualised) but hours do vary according to the mayor’s engagements. Many of the hours are at weekends/during the evening to allow the mayor to attend official and fundraising functions.

You should be tactful, diplomatic and flexible with regard to hours and work patterns.
