Part Time Marketing Administrator job in Ferndown

Our client is a specialist agency focused on caring and delivering brilliantly for a select number of clients. They are looking for a Marketing Administrator to join their Rockstar team. The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ of administration experience (ideally in the marketing industry or within a marketing department). In this role, you will be required to proactively support the team and manage the administration elements of the services we offer to our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing the upkeep of the project management system (adding new tasks, checking status etc)
  • Managing new work requests – creating ‘jobs’ on the project management system (PMS) and getting approval from the client
  • Weekly reporting on worked hours vs budgeted hours and the statuses of projects, tasks, activities and KPIs (key performance indicators)
  • Taking notes at their weekly team meeting notes and adding them to the PMS
  • Supporting with company events including attendee lists, venue management etc.
  • Social media support including community engagement, proofing posts, posting client supplied copy
  • Collecting and managing customer review collection for clients
  • Print management – liaising with publications and printing suppliers
  • Website updates – adding and updating copy/images/products to WordPress websites
  • Database management – adding and updating contacts to client CRM systems
  • Proofing content
  • Competitor research
  • Researching industry news
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives
  • Leading on company marketing – keeping database updated, email shots, social media, review collection, client engagement etc.

Minimum Experience:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • To have strong organisational and project management abilities
  • To be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc)
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing techniques
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Salary and Benefits:
