Part time experienced Management Accountant required for a high end flooring provider based in Staines. You will be responsible for managing the accounting function to ensure timely and accurate financial data is available to management team. Duties include but are not limited to: Cash Management Foreign currency Management Payroll Compile and issue data to payroll bureau to process Collating and submission of new employee information Termination of employment calculations Ensure all regulatory and compliance returns, and payments are processed within deadlines Monthly pension fund submission preparation for submission and payment Month End Fixed Assets; Prepayments, Accruals, Financing reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations Manage and reconcile intercompany accounts between Gravity and Eaton VAT, EC Sales, National Statistics returns Monthly accounts preparation, validation, and reporting to management. Validation & cross referencing of Monthly sales / prospects sheets against sage / invoices. Year End Detailed review of the year’s transactions and entries for validity and accuracy Submission of final accounts to external accountant for production of statutory accounts and Corporation Tax calculation review and approval for submission buy external accountant Supply any additional data requirements for validation/calculation purposes Budget / cost forecasting for next financial year. Office/General Management of 2 direct reports Archiving Management of insurance, Rates & Phones etc Ad-hoc duties as and when required Experience necessary: Payroll and P11D VAT returns and compliance (Sales to construction & commercial preferred). General all round accounting OTC, P2P and R2R Staff Management Excellent communication skills at all levels Foreign currency Excel to advanced level Sage 50 - Administrator level Initiative / proactive attitude required. Persistent attitude & persistent management required for credit control / chasing money. Hours and salary are both negotiable
