The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the training support team at Citrus Training. The position offers an exciting opportunity for any individual looking to join an organisation where they will benefit from full training, mentoring and development and enjoy career progression within a fast-growing organisation. The Training Administrator & Invigilator will be responsible for invigilating CSCS & CPCS renewals touchscreen tests, advising customers, setting up candidate tests on the Pearson Vue system, taking payments and sending booking confirmations. This role will also include assisting the Administration Department with all areas of administration.

Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Advising clients and booking touchscreen tests, taking card payments and sending booking confirmation to clients/candidates
  • Invigilating touch screen tests
  • Notification of upcoming tests to the relevant Awarding Body within expected timescales
  • Meeting & greeting delegates/centre visitors
  • Ensuring acceptable ID is presented at time of test
  • Updating database with pre-and post- course information. Including CCTV and voice recordings
  • Liaising with Internal Verifiers and assisting with preparation for annual audits

To assist in other administration duties when required including, but not limited to:

  • Internal and external telephone calls, including covering other departments calls as and when necessary
  • Receipt and distribution of incoming and outgoing post
  • Production and despatch of course materials and paperwork
  • Receipt/production/despatch of all certificates and ID cards
  • Set up and clear down of classrooms as required for weekly course schedule
  • Management and replenishment of general stationery items, delegate refreshments.
  • Maintaining course paperwork archive and filing systems
  • Assisting the Administration Department with ad hoc duties and projects as required.

The Person

Experience

  • Proven track record of working in a busy office environment is desirable.
  • Knowledge of CSCS and CPCS card schemes would be advantageous but not essential. Full training will be given.

Skills & Attributes

  • IT literate with knowledge and experience in Microsoft office programmes such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and use of database systems.
  • Excellent customer service and people skills with a commitment to upholding excellent customer service levels.
  • Self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative.
  • Good communication skills and an excellent telephone manner.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.

Hours

Approximately 30 hours per week (6 hours per day) Monday to Friday (ideally 9:00-15:00 but slight flexibility on hours is a possibility).

Salary

Competitive and subject to experience.
