Being a Housekeeper Assistant is so much more than cleaning, it’s an opportunity to create a safe environment for your team to provide nothing less than great healthcare.

Working 14 hours from Saturday to Monday, including bank holidays, you will be part of the team at Thornford Park, who have a strong emphasis on teamwork with career opportunities that can see your career grow.

You will be responsible for deep cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms and visitors areas.

As an experienced housekeeper, keeping environments clean is what you do. If you do this really well, when clean is never clean enough, then this might be for you. So, join the new team and feel valued and supported.

Housekeeper Assistant Responsibilities Include
  • Promote and follow Government and company processes
  • Clean all areas of the service to the highest of standards using the appropriate cleaning equipment
  • Complete daily paperwork of your work schedule on a tick sheet
  • Attend any training required and ensure this is up to date
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will
  • Have previous experience of cleaning within a similar environment
  • Enjoy cleaning and get satisfaction from a job well done
  • Be a good communicator
  • An understanding of COSHH and Health and Safety in the workplace would be an advantage
  • To be flexible as you work weekends and may be required to work bank holidays
