We are currently working with a well-known not-for profit organisation to recruit for to exciting new Part-time Finance Officer position

The successful post holder will provide high quality support to the finance team in the process and control of all routine ledger transactions

Job Responsibilities:

To manage the approval process and prepare for payment runs
To control the purchase ledger
Support the Sales ledger of the organisation and process income
- To operate credit control reviewing and managing aged debt
- To be the main point of contact for enquiries arising from purchase ledger transactions

Person Specification:

Good communication skills, including the ability to deal appropriately and professionally with a range of people
Previous experience of processing high volumes of invoices
Experience of using a financial accounting system (SUN System) and Excel
Experience within the Charity Finance industry (Desirable)

Salary: £21,384 (FTE £35,640.23)

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Hybrid/24 hours per week (2 days in office, 1-day WFH)
