Just Desserts supply the food service industry with an extensive range of hand made, high quality desserts and puddings.

We are looking for a driver to join our transport team who deliver to cafes, restaurants, garden centres, pubs, dessert bars and farm shops throughout Yorkshire, Lancashire and the North Midlands.

In addition you will be responsible for the weekly vehicle checks for our fleet of transit vans. This will be on a MONDAY. This will involves carrying out thorough checks, taking the van to our local garage if necessary, washing vehicles and anything associated with keeping the vans ready for daily use. There may also be additional deliveries and odd collection jobs on this day. The hours here will be 8.30am start to a varying finish time from between 2pm and 4pm.

There will also be an addition 2 x day a week to cover a Tuesday and Friday shift, with the view to increase hours if other days come available. You will also be required to work occasional extra days to provide holiday cover.

As well as having a clean driving licence, you will need to be numerate, literate and have exceptional communication skills. You need to be resourceful and patient and will be required to wear a collar and tie whilst working.

Driving a Ford Transit freezer van, your typical hours will be a Thursday 8.30 to anywhere between 3pm-7pm, however later finish times will be required from time to time.
