Home Instead (Altrincham, Sale and Wythenshawe) believe that everyone should be able to stay at home surrounded by their belongings and precious memories for as long as they possibly can.

Our wonderful team of Care Professionals provide compassionate person centred care to older people around Altrincham, Sale and Wythenshawe. Our way of care ensures our clients to get the most out of our visits. Home care covers various activities ranging from a simple chat over a cup of tea through to support with basic housekeeping, preparing meals, administering medication or personal care. We also support our clients to attend appointments or to socialise and go out and about in the local community.

What We Offer:

• £12.50 - £13.50 pr hr, recognising the essential role you play in our clients’ lives.
• Sufficient time to travel between calls, ensuring you never feel rushed.

Once the holidays are out of the way and the house is quiet again, will you be looking to fill some time? As a Home Instead Care Professional you offer hours to fit your life so you can support elderly people in your local area. Home Instead believe taking care of others is not just a job , it’s a heart-warming act that builds lasting bonds so we match our caregivers to clients and no visit is less than one hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate support to our elderly clients.
• Support our clients with everyday tasks that have become a challenge.
• Be a reliable presence and familiar face, consistently arriving on time for each appointment.
• Deliver comprehensive emotional support to clients, fostering a bond of trust and friendship.

We match clients to your availability with a minimum of 1 hour calls.We require you to have your own reliable transport as our clients may want to go out into the community.

This position is ideal if you have previous care experience although we are happy to accept applications if you are new to the care sector, have some experience caring in a personal capacity and show a willingness to learn.

We are taking applications for our September training dates 5/6/7th September or 19/20/21 September.
