Our well established local client is seeking an accounts administrator to work alongside their team to maintain an efficient and accurate accounts function and provide administration support to help the company run smoothly.

Hours of work are 25 hours per week, which can be spread over 3-5 days between the hours of 9am and 5pm

Your Duties Include
  • Raising sales orders to customer specifications
  • Stock control and raising purchase orders
  • Processing and dealing with goods received
  • Processing staff expense claims
  • Entering purchase invoices and preparing supplier payment report for authorisation
  • Processing payment transactions and send out related remittance advices
  • Check and reconcile supplier statements
  • Raising sales invoices and recording customer receipts
  • Processing direct debit and standing order transactions
  • Dealing with sales and purchase invoice queries
  • Monthly stock and telephony reports
  • Credit control
  • Submit meter readings and manage renewal of energy contracts
  • Analysing and formatting employee timesheets
  • Booking travel and accommodation for other members of staff
  • Maintaining records for contracts invoiced in advance
  • Update customer call records with email correspondence
  • Record customer support calls and allocate to the appropriate technician
  • Monitor customer call system for calls to be chased
  • Produce monthly task schedule for the team
About You

You will possess excellent written and spoken communication skills, along with a professional telephone manner.

Candidates Must Have
  • Previous sales and purchase order processing experience is required
  • Experience of working in varied accounts roles
  • Previous sales and purchase ledger experience
  • Previous experience of stocktaking would be an advantage
