Role

Due to ongoing growth, our Client, a hugely successful and award-winning business within the Financial Services industry, is looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner with a proven track record in a dynamic, fast-paced, financial services business. The role is split between home and one office (either Leeds or Durham) and will be on either a full-time or, part-time basis. If part-time, must be 3 full days.

Responsibilities Will Include

Providing a high level of technical support to consultants Ensure that all recommendations are technically accurate and provide ’best advice’ for the client Challenge the advice, if necessary Ensure advice is compliant and adheres to regulatory standards Obtain illustrations, fund fact sheets and all related Compliance documentation Prepare suitability/reason why letters/reports and recommendations Package letters for clients, including all necessary application Meet the key performance indicators (KPIs) Take responsibility for personal development Maintain technical knowledge required for the performance of this role

Qualifications

Ideally hold Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, or a willingness to work towards this, with support provided

Able to demonstrate a full working knowledge of the main Financial Services products including Life, Personal Pensions and Investments Highly organised, positive, self-motivated individual Flexible approach to work Able to work to deadlines Follow business processes and procedures Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail Possess good time management skills
