Make It Matter.The role of Paralegal, Trademarks will have the responsibility for providing a broad range of trademark advisory and support services for the Mdlz Regions, including the management of searches and filings, prosecution and oppositions and enforcement. In addition, you will provide support to the Senior Counsel, Trademarks and the Global IP Team in the delivery of the new Global IP Strategy by the participation in cross-functional project teams within the IP department.How You Will Contribute

• Supporting the Senior Counsel, Trademarks and the Senior Legal Analyst in the provision of trademark advisory services for one of the Mdlz Regions, including the management of searches and filings, prosecution, oppositions for the trademark portfolios especially in the LATAM Region.
• Supporting the Senior Counsel, Trademarks in the management of infringement cases in the region including liaising with Mdlz stakeholders and management of external agents
• Management of Trademark watching service for Mdlz Region – review and analysis of watch results, taking action through opposition where necessary
• Maintain and update ANAQUA database of the Global Trademark Department on searches, filing, opposition and infringement matters in the region
• Support the management and development of good working relationships with the Mdlz Preferred Agent network in the region
• Support the fostering and building of positive working relationships with internal Mdlz stakeholders within the legal and commercial functions
• Participation in cross-function project groups within the Global Intellectual Property Team to support the delivery of the Global IP Strategy and the Goals of the Global IP Team
• Staying up to date on developments in trademark practice and procedure in countries especially in the LATAM region

What extra ingredients you will bring:

• Prior experience as a specialist Paralegal or Legal Administrator either in-house or within a law firm with international trademark practice.

• Must be fluent in English and possess Business Level Spanish OR Portuguese.
