The Company

KSEYE Group is an established financial services company specialising within short-term property lending markets. The company is experiencing an exciting growth period and is now keen to welcome a Paralegal to join the legal team and reporting to the company’s Legal Director.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general legal support within the organisation.
  • Working in cooperation with the internal credit and underwriting functions, funding partners and external solicitors.
  • Taking instructions and liaising with the underwriting team to action and follow up.
  • Reviewing loan documents, extension agreements and other internal documents.
  • Support the legal and risk teams with file management/review and administration to ensure all legal packs are complete and up to date.
  • Assisting with audit preparations and reviews ensuring these are dealt with promptly.
  • Drafting board minutes, shareholder resolutions and other necessary corporate authorisations.
  • Sending all necessary correspondence to various internal and external parties.
  • Occasionally dealing with the servicing team to ensure all post completion conditions have been complied with.

Education & Experience

  • Preferable experience in property law.
  • Knowledge of lending practice is a plus.
  • Strong academic background with a law degree.
  • You will also be a self-starter and have the ability to work autonomously.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills are needed.
  • Ability to be proactive, handle a busy workload and work well under pressure.
  • Confident in working cross departmentally and with external parties.
  • Ability to manage your own busy caseload and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent IT skills- familiar with Microsoft Office applications and document management skills.
