We have a great opportunity for a Paralegal to join us here at Evri, you will get to work with experienced commercial contracts lawyers and gain valuable insights into a vibrant and fast-paced logistics environment.As a Paralegal at Evri you’ll work in the in-house commercial contracts team to support a team of lawyers, internal stakeholders and the wider business in the production and management of commercial contracts.
With the benefit of training, you’ll also manage through to successful conclusion of litigious claims. This is a key role within the commercial contracts team in supporting the efficiency of the team and the wider business.
You Will Be Accountable For
- Delegated tasks related to the production and management of commercial contracts.
- Production and management of ancillary documentation such as short form contracts, NDAs, DPAs etc.
- Manage your own caseload of litigious claims end to end and escalating to the Senior Legal Counsel where necessary
- Conducting legal research.
- Maintenance and organisation of wider teams legal files
- Keeping up to date with current government and legal guidelines and regulations
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience
- Law Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Law (PGDL)
- Previous office experience required
- Experience in private practice or in-house environment is an advantage but not essential
- Working knowledge of legal databases, customer relationship management systems
- Experience with document management systems
- Knowledge of legal records and procedures
- Knowledge of applicable document development processes.
