Production Operatives

Do you want to earn a basic salary of £24,000 plus one days overtime a week is £34,000 per annum

Can you work a rotating shift pattern of 4 days on 4 days off, either Days (6am – 6pm) or Nights (6pm to 6am)?

No experience required – training is provided through a comprehensive induction and training programme.

We are looking for individuals interested in starting a new journey with our client based in Ripley, who are one of the UK’s leading extrusion and lamination PVCu systems companies within the fenestration and construction industries.

They operates within a purpose-built, state of the art site, with the highest safety controls and British Standard accreditation for both Quality Management and Environmental Standards.

Other benefits:
Days rate: £11 per hour plus £16.50 per hour for overtime

Nights rate: £11.09 per hour plus £16.74 per hour for overtime

Temp to permanent contract after 12 weeks

5% company pension contribution

Death in service benefit (3 x salary)

This vacancy is for additional Extrusion Production Operatives to join our Extrusion Production Team based in Denby, near Ripley. The prime purpose of this role is to operate the PVCu extrusion lines safely and efficiently, at the highest quality standards.

The job roles and responsibilities include:
Quality inspection

Heavy lifting/pulling/pushing (up to 25KG)

Packing and wrapping

Labelling

Loading

General warehouse maintenance.

Key skills required:
Attention to detail

Working as part of a team

Willingness to take on new tasks.

In addition to our standard new starter induction with Health & Safety and HR, you will receive a departmental induction and full introduction and training on your tasks and responsibilities. Protective and safety clothing provided, together with full uniform on successful completion of training period.

Your progress will be periodically reviewed and tracked against the operator levels by our in-house trainers and guidance given on areas for improvement. The working area adheres to all current government guidelines on social distancing and sanitising facilities.
