Search is currently seeking a dedicated Packing Operative to join a dynamic and fast-paced food manufacturing company.Position: Packing OperativeLocation: KentWorking Hours: Monday to FridaySalary: 20,700Responsibilities: As a Packing Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production line and maintaining high-quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Packing and Palletizing Goods
  • Assisting Machine Operators
  • Deep Cleaning Machinery
  • Controlling Goods Movement
  • Filling Machines with Packing Materials
  • Inspection of Finished Goods
  • Stretch and Flow Wrapping
  • Removal of Production Line Waste
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a similar packing or manufacturing role is preferred but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to carry out manual tasks and lift moderately heavy objects when required
