We are looking for Fruit Packers.

Basic pay rate - £11.94 per hour

OT pay rate - £14.93 per hour

Teynham ME9 9PR

Mach Recruitment is recruiting for a Fruit Packer to work in a large fresh fruit packing and distribution site in Teynham ME9 9PR.

The Role

As a Fruit Packer, you will be working within a CHILLED fresh fruit environment and your duties will be as follows:

  • Packing of fresh fruit as per required specification.
  • Basic Quality checks and Quality assurance of fresh fruit.
  • General production duties.
  • Some lifting of fruit boxes.
  • Maintain high levels of housekeeping and ensure food hygiene is adhered to.
  • To work effectively and safely in line with H&S requirements.
  • General Duties outlined by your shift supervisor.

This is a fast-moving environment, all team members must work whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with the hygiene regulations at all times.

About You

As a Fruit Packer, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Start immediately and can work in Chilled environment.
  • Able to work up to 12 hours per shift, 3-4 shifts a week, including weekends.
  • You will be able to travel to Teynham (postcode ME9 9PR) for 7am start.
