The Morpeth site is a fully integrated pharmaceutical contract manufacturing and development facility producing active chemicals and pharmaceuticals, final sales packs and clinical supply patient packs and distribution. A permanent Engineering Technician vacancy has arisen in our Pharmaceutical Packaging Department. As a member of the Packaging Engineering Team you will be integral to supporting a fast-paced Packaging environment responsible for packing billions of tablets globally.

Preferred training & experience required:

Ø Have served a recognised apprenticeship in an engineering discipline.

Ø Attained an HNC or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation & control.

Ø An understanding of PLC/Control, Electrical/Mechanical and Pneumatic systems.

Ø Be familiar with problem solving and process improvement techniques.

Ø Familiarity with planned maintenance systems.

Ø Be used to working in a fast moving environment and demonstrate a methodical, proactive approach to all aspects of engineering.
