PART TIME SALES ASSISTANT DUNFERMLINE – MINIMUM 12 Hours Per Week - SATURDAY + Week Day

As a member of staff at Shmooz, you will liaise and work closely with all Team Members as well as Store Manager. You will be responsible for optimising the profitability of the store by creating and maximizing sales opportunities through providing excellent customer service.

You will need general computer skills to operate the EPOS system and carry out stock replenishment. All training will be provided.

Previous retail experience would be preferable but not a necessity if you have the suitable personality, mixed with enthusiasm, an ability to learn and an interest in fashion.

Other responsibilities/duties may include:

  • Ensure our high level of customer service is maintained at all times
  • Maintaining the Health & Safety in store
  • Self motivated
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and visual appearance of the shop floor and other areas
  • Window and in-store visual displays
  • Handling stock deliveries coming in and out of the store
  • Stock replenishment
  • Theft monitoring

TERMS

Your normal working week will be a minimum of 12 hours, split between Saturday and a day during the week. There will also be an opportunity for extra shifts during the week at peak times.

  • Rate of pay is higher than National Wage
