Please be aware of this when submitting your application.We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated senior nurse who can demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate staff. You will be a team player with good communication and organisational skills and clinical management experience. You will have a positive can do attitude and always striving for the best for your patients and nursing staff.You will have the ability to engage clinically with all members of the multi-disciplinary team. You will have in depth proven clinical knowledge guiding the nursing team to work within this framework. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, along with the ability to sensitively manage change.The post holder will be expected to have responsibility for the department both at The James Cook University Hospital and the One Life to provide professional clinical leadership, advice and guidance for the team. You will need to have problem solving skills and be able to enhance patient pathways with innovation/ improvements based on current research/ guidance.This Programme Aims ToSouth Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff to the Trust; this training programme has been designed to support our leaders in developing their understanding of leadership and management skills. You will be expected to attend the leadership development programme, and the Quality Improvement Programme that the Trust delivers.

  • Practitioner level in quality improvement, equipping you with the skills to champion, lead and complete quality improvement within your role
