If you are looking for a rewarding career, making a difference in our community and working with a great team, then this is the job for you.The Role Youth Options has developed a reputation for delivering high-quality Outdoor Learning provision in the Eastleigh and Southampton areas.The aim of our provision is to engage, develop and empower children and young people to develop their social and emotional capabilities and improve their engagement with learning through nature-based activities. As an Outdoor Learning Leader, you will work as part of a team and individually to support, develop and engage children and young people to realise their abilities, aspirations and make a valuable contribution to their communities through horticulture and nature-based learning.For this role, we are looking for someone to lead the development and implementation of horticulture courses for children and young people, as well as lead the maintenance of growing areas at Youth Options Outdoor Learning Centre, New Park Farm and school sites.Contract Type: PermanentLocation: Outdoor Learning Centre, Eastleigh (Travel to schools required)Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours or Part Time or Term Time OnlyReports to: Team Leader - Outdoor LearningStarting Salary: £21,645- £22,035In addition to the horticulture role, you will be working across a number of projects that support young people in a variety of settings including Itchen Valley Country Park, Outdoor Learning Centre and Schools sites.
