Established in January 2016 and now into our sixth year of trading, The Consumer Helplineis an outsourced contact centre based in the heart of Swansea, Wales. The Consumer Helpline specialise in utilities and currently operate four major outbound telesales campaigns: Scottish Power, ESB Energy, SO Energy

The main motivations for starting The Consumer Helpline was due to the senior management having a lot of experience working in the telecommunications industry and utilities sector. As a result, a key ambition when starting The Consumer Helpline was to offer all employees a chance of a stable working environment which believed in coaching and mentoring to improve performance and give employees the chance of progression.

In 2020 The Consumer Helpline was listed in Wales fast growth 50 companies based on company growth in a three-year period. The business was also short listed was “Welsh Outsourced Contact Centre of the Year” in 2019 & 2020. This recent success has allowed the business to expand all our sales teams.

The Role

- Providing potential customers with options of new energy tariffs with the aim of saving the customer money and/or fixing their rate against any future price increases

- Provide excellent customer service during sales calls

- Ensure all sales exceed the client’s quality and compliance guidelines

- Strive to achieve daily targets set by manager team

- All successful candidates will receive 8 weeks within The Consumer Helpline academy to improve knowledge and increase confidence.

The Successful Candidate will be:

- Committed to learn and improve week on week within the business

- Motivated to achieve personal and company KPI’s

- Hardworking and able to deal with rejection in a fast paced sales environment

The Perks

- Annual Salary of £18720 (Including Attendance Bonus)

- £30,000 OTE
