An exciting opportunity to join Llamau’s domestic abuse provision, providing support to Children and Young People (CYP) accessing refuge provision.

You will be working with CYP people to create safe spaces to explore their experiences, develop their understanding of safe relationships, feeling safe and having opportunity to engage in activities within refuge and the community. The role involves working within the LA area to ensure all provision is in place to meet the needs of CYP during their time in refuge.

You will also work with parents providing ongoing support relating to provide awareness raising sessions with Young people and adults in the community, and support the roll out of Llamau’s successful ADAPT programme, a course for Young people at risk of abuse.

This role includes being part of the domestic abuse services on call tier 1 rota.

Contract:Part Time, Fixed Term until 31st March 2022 with potential to extend

Hours:Part Time hours are 21 hours per week, between Monday - Friday, 9:30am-5pm. Please note that flexibility is required to accommodate hours to meet needs of CYP (eg around school times/ weekends).

Salary: £12,765 per annum

Location: Merthyr Tydfil

Essential: Driving Licence and own vehicle
