Our business provides a manufacturing & shipping service to companies who sell printed fabric based products on the internet and in high street locations. This post is therefore one of the most vital elements of our business to ensure that the correct product is shipped to the right place by the right time. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate organisational and time management skills to ensure that the business delivers product to clients customers first time every time. This can be a very pressurised role and the employee needs to be able to work under stressful and time limited deadlines. At certain times of the year the job holder will be required to work in extra hours

Responsibilities and Duties

    • Ensure the efficient shipping of finished goods to end the customer.
    • Experience of/ ability to learn quickly packing & dispatching
    • Experience of computer software applications such as Microsoft Office Excel, Word.
    • Experience of/ ability to learn quickly the use computer based shipping systems
    • Speed in operating the above to dispatch orders for daily distribution.
    • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
    • Can do attitude & flexibility to undertake other reasonable tasks as part of our team In addition to dispatching the successful candidate will be required to assist in the preparation materials and the audit of stock levels.
    • Liaising with customers by email and telephone to problem solve issues with orders such as deliveries. Qualifications

    • Education level – Good general command of Computer based applications and English

    Experience

    Previous experience of dispatching would be preferable

    Working in a pressurised environment.
    • Specific skills
    Good communication skills.

    Good organisation skills
