You’ll be working in a team of two forming a vital part of the successful and smooth running of our Beverley site.This role is offered on a permanent basis, working day and night shifts. Your rota will follow the pattern, two weeks of day shifts followed by two weeks of night shifts.Days 6am – 6pm. Week 1: Working Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Week 2: Working Wednesday and Thursday only.Nights 6pm – 6am. Week 3: Working Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Week 4: Working Wednesday and Thursday onlyThe roleThis is a busy site, where you’ll be on the go, from start to finish. Accuracy is key as is time management, but don’t worry, you’re in good hands with a team that will support you and show you the ropes.The More Common Activities Include, But Are Not Limited ToYour main duties covers elements of logistics/packing & loading and running the process lines.- Packaging product into 25kg and 1 tonne bags (machinery is used in this process)
- Shrink wrapping and securing goods, ready for collection.
- Inputting and maintaining accurate data on our computer systems (using SAP)
- Managing the products through processing (this includes loading the machinery and carrying out QC tests to ensure the refined product meets required standards)
- Maintaining the health, safety and environmental standards on site, for yourself and others around you
- A forklift licence.
- A UK driving licence.
- High level of health, safety and environmental knowledge and awareness
- Any experience working in a similar industrial setting or production environment would be advantageous.
- Solid understanding of health and safety standards/ practices
