Operations Supervisor £40,000 - £55,000 + benefits Redhill, Surrey-Hybrid

  • Friday One of the UK’s leading suppliers of high-end sterilisation and quality process equipment is now seeking a Operations Supervisor to join their busy and expanding service and logistics team based in Redhill, Surrey. This is a brand new and will be focused on managing the day-to-day engineering maintenance contracts as well as the parts and logistics technicians. It is highly desirable you come from an engineering background and understand managing/purchasing parts and service delivery. Responsibilities: Contribution to all aspects of internal quality control, matching our reference level service support. Work with other stakeholders to identify further work opportunities such as small projects, training, spare parts opportunities. Effective co-ordination and relationship building with key principal supplier contacts Ensuring that field engineers have the correct parts and equipment at the right time including continual dialogue with the team. Control of all aspects of parts & logistics quality, returns, warranty and change control. Shipping management including cost reduction and optimisation Accountability for multiple store locations Working with other stakeholders to forecast requirements, then control and maintain optimum stock levels. Including continual risk evaluation. Practical implementation of parts initiatives and campaigns Co-ordination of Strategic Spares sales activities (Typically alongside capital project deliveries) Supervision, training, and performance management of the parts and logistics technicians Work with management and take a lead in the continual improvement and optimisation of related processes and procedures. Ensuring the parts and logistics team respond promptly and reliably to all customers throughout the quotation and order management process Experience required: Strong management/leadership skills Ideally worked in an engineering/manufacturing/production environment and understands the process of manufacturing equipment Managed stock/parts in an engineering environment Excellent communication both written and verbal Familiar with equipment such as autoclaves, pure steam generators/process sterilisation in the pharma/medical industry is desirable Package: £40,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience) Company and performance bonus Pension scheme Lunch allowance (when out in the field) Paid overtime for weekly hours above 39 If you would be interested in making an application, please click APPLY NOW to begin your application and a CBSbutler representative will be in touch should you be suitable
