What You Will Enjoy Doing

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee our manufacturing facility at our Merseyside location.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of plastic products while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

  • In charge of the overall operational performance of the production plant
  • Ensures optimization and continuous improvement of all operational processes according to the global ALPLA standard. "Operational excellence" is the ultimate goal.
  • Responsible for budgeting, KPI planning, capacity, resource planning and investment planning.
  • Ensures optimum customer support and optimization of the whole supply chain
  • Performs in compliance with quality, health & safety and environmental standards
  • Responsible for team development
  • Creates a transparent operational organization

What makes you great

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastics manufacturing (preferred – other industries considered) and a proven track record of leadership and process optimization and continuous improvement

  • Proven leadership capabilities in a multi function manufacturing environment
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
